2024 RATES
All cottages enjoy a private dock on Squam Lake, a fireplace, a screened-in porch and an old-fashioned icebox. Our Full American Plan includes lodging, all meals, daily housekeeping, organized activities and use of recreational facilities including eight clay tennis courts, three pickleball courts, a basketball court, and a ball field. During peak season, reservations are made on a weekly basis for cottages. Cottages may be rented for less than a week during off-peak season, subject to a three-night minimum stay. Lodge rooms require a two-night minimum stay throughout the full season. There are no additional service charges. Gratuities are not required, but guests are welcome to reward employees for exceptional service.
Unlike some resorts, there are no additional service charges or hidden fees!

Most cottages accommodate guests beyond the minimal occupancy; such persons are charged the “Weekly Overage Rate” of $1,225 or a “Daily Overage Rate” of $175 per night. Overage Rates will include three meals per day and organized activities. The Overage Rate for children ages 3-9 is 50% off the above Overage Rate. There is no overage charge for children under 3 years of age.

The daily rate covers our Full American Plan charges and overages apply as described above. Reservations in the lodges and Rock Office rooms are subject to a two-night minimum stay. (Discounted rate periods apply to cottages only.)

All rentals have limited availability. Weekly boat rentals and golf cart rentals may be reserved prior to your arrival. Cancellations for weeklong boat rentals must be called into the office by 4 p.m. the day before your arrival. There will be a one-day rental charge for each cancelled boat after delivery. General Information
Arrival and Departure times: Arriving guests should not enter their accommodation before registering at the office. To allow staff enough time to properly clean and sanitize lodging facilities, check-in time is after 4 p.m. and check out is no later than 10 a.m.
Mid-day meals on departure and arrival days are not included in weekly rates. Bagged lunches can be provided to departing guests who give the dining room a day’s notice.
Reservation Deposits: A 20% deposit is required 30 days from the date of our offer letter to confirm a reservation.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made prior to May 15, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
- Reservations canceled after May 15 and prior to a month of the expected arrival will lose the 20% deposit regardless if the vacancy is filled.
- Reservations canceled within one month of the expected arrival will be responsible for 50% of the total bill if the vacancy is not filled.
- Reservations canceled within two weeks of the expected arrival will be responsible for 100% of the total bill if the vacancy is not filled.
New Hampshire Rooms and Meals Tax of 8.5% is added to lodging and meal charges.
Gratuities: Guests may wish to reward employees for exceptional service; however, employees are paid with the understanding that gratuities are not required.
RDC's Recreation Programs, with activities for all ages, begin June 9 and end August 30.
A morning playgroup, called Wee Campers, is provided from June 10 to August 30 for children 3 to 6 years of age, Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon.
Pets cannot be accommodated except during “Dog Week”, Saturday, September 7 to Friday, September 13. Sorry!

Our 60 cottages and cabins at Rockywold Deephaven Camps accommodate from 2 to 14 people and are tucked discreetly amidst the natural beauty of 1.5 miles of Squam Lake shorefront forest and granite outcroppings. Built in the early part of the previous century, each cottage has twin beds, a fireplace, a screened-in porch, a private dock and an antique ice box where ice harvested from Squam Lake is delivered, as is firewood, daily.
Within our two lodge facilities, guests can rent double and single bedrooms for short terms stays. Each lodge has a large common area with a fireplace and a spacious porch overlooking the Squam Lake.
All accommodations are serviced daily by housekeeping and outside crew, and most are equipped with free WiFi.

Buffum is a wonderful cottage overlooking Squam Lake. The living room is well proportioned and feels very cozy. I read that it is one of the cottages actually built by a family who were frequent visitors which may account for some of its nice feel and special touches. I love the high ceilings, sliding doors and roomy hallway.
