RDC accommodations are best described as "rusticomfortable." Built in the early 20th century, our 60 cottages and two lodges are scattered among shorefront pines and granite outcroppings. Each has twin beds, a fireplace, a screened-in porch, private dock, and an antique ice box where ice that is harvested from Squam Lake over the winter is delivered daily.
While cottages do have electricity, phone service is only available at public telephones at or near the Rockywold or Deephaven offices. Since meals are taken at one of the two main dining rooms, cottages are not equipped with cooking facilities.
All accommodations are serviced daily by our housekeeping staff.
